Information

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Faculty of Engineering, Computing and the Environment PGR Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is Sustainable AI and the Future of Research, and we aim to bring together researchers from all disciplines to present and discuss their work in pursuit of a better future enabled by technology.

We look forward to seeing and hearing about your research on 18 June 2026. Further information below covers the specifics of the day, prize categories, and the expected criteria for your oral presentation and/or poster.

The conference will be held in the John Galsworthy building at our Penrhyn Road campus in Kingston upon Thames. Please keep an eye on your inbox as we will be sharing more information via the conference account: ece.conference@kingston.ac.uk. Feel free to get in touch with us too.

Lunch will be provided on the day for those who have pre-registered and shared their dietary requirements.

If you are presenting a poster, we will print and display it at the poster gallery event on the day of the conference, so it is ready for the conference.

The day will consist of a mix of sessions from across the faculty and external guest speakers. There will also be time slots for breaks, and for audience feedback and voting from the judges (there are cash prizes for the top 3 in each category).
